It’s one of the first questions families ask us, and a fair one. Here is exactly what a Spring Valley Australian Labradoodle costs, what’s included, and what to plan for after your puppy comes home.
Our price
Companion puppies are $3,500 (plus tax), regardless of gender or color. Companion puppies go home at 8 weeks old.
Our Pre-School and Kindergarten Puppies stay with us longer for training before they go home, at 12 and 15 weeks. They’re priced to the training program and any customizations you request, so we quote those personally. Contact us and we’ll gladly walk you through the options.
What’s included with every puppy
- Registration with the Australian Labradoodle Association of America (ALAA)
- A 2-year health guarantee (see the full terms)
- A microchip
- All age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming
- A baby blanket with the scent of mom and siblings
- Lots of socialization with adults, children, dogs and other animals
- A start on potty and crate training
- A lifetime of support from us
Why a well-bred Australian Labradoodle costs what it does
A lower price tag can look tempting, but here’s what goes into every Spring Valley puppy:
- Health-tested parents. Our breeding dogs are health tested, and you can see each dog’s results on Meet Our Doodles.
- A true, multi-generation Australian Labradoodle. We’re ALAA members and register our dogs with the ALAA. Not sure what that means? Read Australian Labradoodle vs Labradoodle.
- Raised in our home, not a kennel. Our puppies grow up in the middle of family life, handled every day.
- A health guarantee and lifetime support. We’re here for you long after pick-up day.
How payment works
- Apply. Fill out our puppy application. We read every one personally.
- Reserve. Once you’re approved, a $500 non-refundable reservation fee holds your spot.
- Balance. The remaining balance is due when the puppies are 4 weeks old. We accept personal check, Venmo, Apple Pay or PayPal, and any electronic payment fees are paid by the sender.
See every step on our Purchase Info page.
Other costs to plan for
- Pet insurance. Our contract asks you to sign up for the 30 free days of Trupanion insurance before pick-up day.
- Grooming. Australian Labradoodle coats shed very little, but they do need regular brushing and trips to the groomer.
- Vet visits. Please see your vet within three business days of going home to activate your health guarantee, then keep up with your vet’s schedule.
- Food and supplies. See the food and supplies we recommend.
- Travel, if you’re coming from farther away. We never ship puppies as cargo. For $200 we’ll meet you at Philadelphia International Airport with your puppy in an airline-approved in-cabin carrier.
